Long ago in ancient China, there were  Kung fu masters  with incredible skill. When they struck, it was once and the enemy was dead. Now many centuries later we no longer see these skills. The basic martial skills once taught are ignored and more "modern" day training is used instead. If these new methods are better, then why does the modern martial artist not exhibit the same skills of the old Kung fu masters? The answer is simple, they have no chi skills.

In this book, Sifu Li a student and teacher of Kung Fu for over 35 years shares his secrets to building chi. Using techniques used in Shaolin, Tai Chi Chuan, Bagua, he teachers the reader the basics to learning internal striking method. This is done using a 100 day plan to increase chi, develop internal striking, and temper the skeletal system. This book also gives you a free recipe to Dit Da Jow Iron Palm liniment and instructions on its preparation and use in training. Get your copy today!

Worth reading but not the book others make it out to be. I've purchased a lot of books like this and while it has it's value, don't think that there is some lost knowledge in it. It's nice to get into the mind set of another martial artist, or one that appreciates it. The real value comes when the techniques from books like this are practiced and become your own. Not as they simply do them but as you adapt them or the ideology of them to your own style. As far as strikes go, I've rarely found books like this to explain to the detail I would like to see as to how it works. It's always from defense, e.g. (arm straight out, elbow pointed down slightly bent, fist arched to slant as if to be pitch of a roof, first knuckle impacts 90%, second knuckle impacts 10%). Then it stops on the other side as to say, (opponent fills force here, then here, then here). Not very descriptive. I've found that spending the money to learn more about human anatomy has helped in not only martial defense but understanding my own self as well as silly as it sounds. Worth the money to look into the book thou. Enjoy the read.

Nicely written w/lot's of food for thought.
It is very interesting book, short but many advices very precious and unique.
Very simple and short, but going to the heart and simplicity of what matters. I missed fe pictures in some cases and some deepening on some topics, but I understand this is a book recommended for martial arts students aiming to complement what is being learned with his master. I loved the simplicity of the book
I have been an instructor of Kung Fu & Tai Chi Chuan for 37 years, & this book is not worth the money ... any money. It offers no insights, practices, training methods, pointers, training aids, or guidance, nor does it provide any references, resources, or contact points for further study. The only things it says is ... 'stand in the horse stance'. A singularly good practice ... but you probably already knew that.
This has some general information that I had forgotten over the years of doing Tai Chi. It has some very good ideas, observations, and some detailed looks at some Chinese Herbal remedies. Why Not!?
I finished this book in about 15 minutes. There is some direction but the author takes time to say that he isn’t going to give you all the answers. That’s all well and good but he also doesn’t point you in a direction to learn the answers. It is a cheap book so it’s worth a read but don’t have high expectations either.
This small book provides information on one of the best ways of building chi; the horse stance. My TaiChi instructor is a big believer in this method.
